Motorbikes include:

• 50cc moped or Honda CG 125
• Honda cbf 500 and cb500
• Maximum pupil to instructor ratio on the road is 2 to 1

What is compulsory basic training (CBT)

CBT is a basic training course which on completion allows you to ride unaccompanied on the road

125cc Test and Training

After completing your CBT you can continue training on a 125cc motorcycle improving your confidence and skill to pass your test

The training courses at Apex Motorcycle Training are constructed around you and your ability.
You can train in full days, half days, or even 2 hour slots.

Once you have passed your test on a 125cc motorcycle you are then restricted to a motorcycle of a power output of 33bhp for 2 years.
Your local bike shop can restrict almost any bike down to 33bhp if you so wish.

Direct Access Scheme (DAS)

If you are 21 or over you can take your training and test on a larger motorcyle (500cc) Once you have passed your test you can then ride anything you like without any restrictions
